Padre Pio Intercede for Us
Padre Pio Mass for Healing in Mind & Body continues this Monday 2nd May at 7.30pm, when we will share in a network of prayer, love and support. We remain heartfully present with everyone and wish to connect with all who are ill, unwell, feeling isolated and struggling with the pressures of life. Through the gift of this Mass we will unite in prayer for all. We pray to be surrounded by the light and warmth of God’s love to heal us at this time. We hope at the end of each Mass to give a Blessing using a 1st class relic of Padre Pio. Please share as best you can knowledge of this Mass with your family & friends. Rosary at the Grottos. The Rosary will be said throughout the month of May at Brandywell Grotto, Derry beginning Sunday 1st May at 7.00pm. We are praying for Ireland and for peace in the world. Everyone welcome.
The Little Way Novena in St Eugene’s Cathedral – 7th May to 15th May: The theme is ‘Remember that nothing is small in the eyes of God. Do all that you do with love’. The Novena will begin at the 7.30 pm Mass with the Sacrament of the Sick on Saturday, 7th May. Devotions and talk on Sunday, 8th May at 6.00 pm. Monday to Friday (9th to 13th May) Novena Masses at 6.30 am and 10.00 am each morning and an evening service with a guest speaker at 7.30 pm. Saturday, 14th May 10.00 am Mass for those who have died. The Novena will close on Sunday, 15th May at 3.00 pm. Everyone is welcome to St Eugene’s Cathedral for this time of prayer and petition.
The Holy Family Padre Pio Prayer Group will meet on Tuesday 3 May at Holy Family Chapel, Ballymagroarty, Derry starting with the holy rosary at 1845, mass at 1915, and novena to St. Pio directly afterwards. There will be a first-class relic available for veneration. All Welcome.

Mary’s Meals – Pray in May: During May, the month dedicated to Our Lady, we invite you to join us in prayer for the work of Mary’s Meals. Each day we are reaching more than 2.2 million children with a nutritious school meal in 20 countries. We ask you to join us in prayers of thanksgiving for 20 years of little act of love that have made this work possible and in petition for God’s continued blessing, that through His providence it will continue to grow and flourish enabling us to reach more hungry children. Anam Cara Donegal, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it’s monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Thursday 12th May at 7:15pm in the Raddison Blu, Letterkenny. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. We also offer an online service.
