The Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ 19th June 2022
Divine Food
“All ate and were filled.”
Down through the ages we have gathered at momentous times in life to honour our triumphs, togetherness and departures. During our celebrations the sharing of food and wine play a significant part in bringing us together to bond with one another. It feels this inner pull to join together is a sacred longing built into our hearts – to be loved, nourished and belong – moving our hungry and thirsty spirit to seek fulfilment. May we find our peace at the heavenly table – filled with the divine food of love let us continue to gather and bond with each other; sharing in the bread and cup of freedom, and infinite life in Him.

Diocesan Prayer for Vocations
Lord Jesus Christ, gentle shepherd, you know your sheep, and you know how to reach their hearts. Give to the people of the diocese of Derry hearts that are open to the call of the Holy Spirit.
Speak to the hearts of the faithful men and women of our diocese, that they may hear your call to follow you and serve your people as priests, consecrated religious and consecrated virgins.
Awaken in them the courage to answer: “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”
St. Eugene, pray for us. St. Columba, pray for us. St. John Vianney, pray for us.
