‘On Saturday 13th May to mark the 106th Anniversary of the 1st Apparition of Our Lady at Fatima, there will be a candlelight Rosary at 9pm in St Columba’s Church, Long Tower preceded by adoration of The Blessed Sacrament after the 6pm Vigil Mass. Everyone is welcome to attend’..

The Little Way Novena in honour of St Thérèse of Lisieux will be take place at St Eugene’s Cathedral from Saturday 6th May until Sunday 14th May 2023. The Novena begins with a Mass with the Anointing of the sick at 7.30pm on Saturday 6 May. This will be an opportunity to pray for a special intention and to ask St Thérèse to intercede for us. It is a time when many people find great joy and healing. All are very welcome.
The Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre, working in Partnership with Saint Mary’s University, Twickenham, offers the Masters in Catholic School Leadership. This is a post graduate degree dedicated to the professional development and spiritual formation of Catholic school leaders. It is a great opportunity for those currently in leadership roles and those who aspire to, or have an interest in, leadership roles within the Catholic School system. Carmelite Retreat Centre Termonbacca: Holy Souls Retreat- On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May. Fr. Paul Denizot and Fr. Axel de Perthuis from the Fraternity of Our Lady of Montligeon in France, will lead a time of retreat and prayer for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Beginning at 10am and ending at 4.30pm on Saturday. Anam Cara Donegal, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it’s monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Thursday 11th May at 7:15pm in the Raddison Blu Hotel, Letterkenny Co.Donegal. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. We also offer an online service.
