The Cycle of Discipleship
Many of us have had that strike of lightening moment when it feels we have experienced this moment before – the place, action or person seem so familiar it stops us in our tracks. This mystery is commonly known as Déjà vu meaning ‘already seen.’ Often we struggle to comprehend this and convince ourselves that these events could not have actually happened before. Similarly, we can see a repeating theme play out through the books of wisdom and into our present day – the cycle of discipleship. It feels the spirit moves through the passage of time, returning to seek us out again and again, to ask – ‘through love become slaves to one another.’ May we set our face towards the kingdom, not rejecting anyone, but blessing and helping each other plough and cultivate the sacred soil in our hearts – to be within His white robes of freedom.
