The ‘Do This In Memory’ Mass for those children who are celebrating their First Communion this year will take place on Sunday, 23rd June at 12 noon.
Keeping Sunday Special We know this won’t always be easy. There’s always some reason for not going to Mass: a football game, training, shopping, rehearsal, a trip to the seaside. But we should try to keep part of Sunday for God and his family by going to Mass and sharing in the bread of life. Children will need mummy and daddy’s help with this.
The ‘complete works’ of any collection become very desirable to enthusiastic collectors. For many, it can take a lifetime to gather all the components together, sometimes bringing years of disappointment and loss of hope that they many never achieve their goal. Today, may we encounter the ‘complete works’ of the Trinity, assisting in the evolution of our hearts – our beloved Father and Jesus unite as one with the Holy Spirit to pour love into our hearts and declare the truth of His word in our lives. May we, as enthusiastic children, feel the longing to reach our divine destination, with the ancient master of wisdom guiding us – ever hopeful we will not be disappointed that they will complete their sacred work in our hearts.
